Funniest news story I've heard all week.

Qatari diplomat sneaks a cigarette in the airplane bathroom.
"The incident was exacerbated by the man's sarcastic comment after leaving the lavatory, when flight attendants and passengers smelled smoke. Asked what he had been doing, he allegedly remarked, "Lighting my shoes on fire," according to one law enforcement source in Washington. Several passengers concurred with that description of events early Thursday."

Ciara and her sister, Kelli, were in town last week so I got to play with my friends and their kids. Anika warmed up way quicker than I expected and kept talking about her friends. We went swimming, lunching, played board games and the like. Kelli is a good photographer so she took some photos of me, Ciara, Jenny and Nicole. She even snapped a few of me and Anika, which I was so grateful for because I have not one decent photo of Anika and Mommy. Can you believe I have been best friends with these girls since we were fifteen? Crazy!

and then there's this......
an excerpt taken from the Easter Church Services Directory (Mountain News), written by Pastor Tom Balli (Calvary Chapel of Lake Arrowhead):
"How is it celebrated? Ever since Jesus Christ went to the cross and was declared dead and a few days later as He lay in that tomb, the boulder was removed, the grave was empty and that meant it was time to party because the Savior was alive."
Happy Easter everyone :)

on that note.....
"Whether you are skiing the powder snow of Colorado or windsurfing off the hot sunny beaches of Maui, it is easy to realize that the world is full of incredible experiences.
In between, we spend most of our life lurching from one near disaster to the next, each disaster interrupted occasionally by brief moments of euphoria."
