Anika's Preschool Parade

This was the Halloween "parade" at Anika's preschool on Thursday. They came out and walked around the driveway with the teacher and then sang some songs to all the parents. Anika especially liked the boy dressed like a dog, go figure! That's her cousin, Hailey, right next to her. They are pointing to their heads in that top photo for "Jack fell down and broke his crown..."

Of all the quarter machines at Albertsons filled with toys and candy, what does my child choose? Well, the fake mustache machine, of course. She must have been channeling Pedro to achieve the identical, vacant look. I had to ask her politely to remove it before we headed over to the church this afternoon for the primary program practice.

My head feels hot.
