i was riding the train home from the city when i looked out the window and noticed a restaurant named "Jimmy John's. " i wondered if it was the same kind as in san jorge, but then i thought no, it can't be. i wanted to get off the train and check it out, but it was still far from my new home and then i'd have to wait for the next train and i didn't know how long that would be. the next day, i stopped at a drug store about 2 miles from my train station. i looked up and low and behold, i saw the sign that read "Jimmy John's." i stopped in tonight after i got off the train from the city. i read the menu and it is the same menu as it is in san jorge. i remember because they had a sandwich named "lulu something" in san jorge and they had the same one here. little did i know that when i left claifornia and said goodbye to "in and out", i'd get to illinois and say hello to "jimmy john's" subs so fast you'll freak! the only problem is that i can't remember what alex used to order... so can someone clue me in?
so far, things are going well. the train station is about 20 minutes from my new home and when i get off the train in the city, the bar review course is 2 blocks down. it's only an hour train ride and i never get stuck in traffic.
the course is going okay, but it's not very exciting, so there's not a lot to say about it except that it's 4 hours long and feels like 8. i study in the morning before i have to catch the 11:10am train and then i study when i get home around 7pm.
i'll try to post pictures of my room when i can. actually, it's a studio apartment. i have a sitting area with a sofa and chair and a really big flatscreen. then i have a king bed, a walk-in closet, my own bathroom and kitchenette. however, i don't really use the kitchenette. kelly's parents don't care if i use the big kitchen.
i'm getting used to my new life and new home.

It's good to hear from you! The train sounds like fun.... :)
Alex orders a #5 w/peppers (I confirmed with Ian - so I'm pretty sure)
What's the weather like out there?
I look forward to seeing pictures :)
Holy moly, that is insane... I had no idea that Jimmy John's was anywhere else in the country. Talk about make you feel settled in! Yes, #5 Vito add peppers and mayo. Yum, that makes me want to go there right now. I'm seriously craving it. I can't wait to see pictures of your studio... it sounds way cute. Score on the big flatscreen!... not like you will have time to watch anything this summer. :) Love ya LU, Alana.
