"And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it. And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths."
Isaiah 2:2-3
(Utah means "top of the mountain" in the Ute Indian language.)
"...the desert shall blossom... Israel shall be gathered, and Zion shall be built up. The wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad for them; and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose. It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and singing."
Isaiah 35:1-2
"For in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert. And the parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water: in the habitation of dragons, where each lay, shall be grass with reeds and rushes."
Isaiah 35:6
What kind of an earthquake do you think it would take to get me some water-front property? Is it my only chance to raise my property value and get out of my underwater mortgage? And... do you think God finds me useful enough to keep around for the building of Zion societies in the mountain west? Or maybe the New Jerusalem? Perhaps He will just kill me off in the first scourge?
I still think this is the beginning of the end like I talked about a long time ago here.
(I've since repented for saying 'ass'.) Can't you feel the winds of change? It feels like remembering. Remembering forward.
