It just reminded me of writing IOUs to Mom. If you ever had to borrow money or be late on a payment, you couldn't just say, "I'll pay you back." You had to scribble a real note on a yellow postit like this or maybe one of mom's classic index cards she ALWAYS has on hand.

Mom would never take your word for it. It is like she didn't know us and we had to make up the IOU Contract and sign it. CLASSIC!
